Where it all began

My love for travel started with my mum. She took me everywhere from a young age, across the Caribbean, parts of Africa, and Europe. I grew up understanding that the world was big, varied, and worth exploring.

As I got older, I started travelling on my own. Over the years I've taken more than ten solo trips across the Caribbean, Asia, and Europe. What I always loved most wasn't just being somewhere new, it was the planning. The research, the boutique hotels, the right neighbourhoods, the small details that turn a trip into something memorable.

From planning trips to building a brand

After years of planning trips for myself, friends, and family, I realised how much of that work could help other people. Miya's Travell was born from a simple idea: that travel shouldn't feel overwhelming, and luxury shouldn't feel out of reach.

Every itinerary, every guide, every planning tool I create comes from real travel and real research. I build the kind of resources I wish I'd had when I first started exploring on my own.

The name behind the brand

Miya's Travell is named after my daughter, Amiyah, born in 2016. She represents the next generation of travellers in my family, the same way my mum opened the world up to me. The name is a reminder that travel is generational, that the love of seeing new places gets passed down, and that everything I build is rooted in something personal.
